    IN 2010 I spent days reading to get a handle on all the new lingo and trying to formulate a realistic cost analysis. Decided against it. Quit smoking cold turkey soon after but revisited vaping in 2013. Happily vaping ever since.

    It's highly unlikely you will ever need 200w but 200w shouldn't be avoided as most if not all of them will fire down to 1w. Happy hunting.

    The Cloupor Mini Plus has made a TC vaping fan of me. Adding an eVic VTC Mini to my stable would allow the freedom for me to leave TC builds in a couple more atties. The latest VTC Mini firmware added SS. Another avenue to explore. Best of luck to all.

    Have you closely inspected the threads? Do they have burrs? Are they scratchy? A needle file or sandpaper may be needed to remove burrs.     Not an experienced solderer but my research has shown the Hakko FX-888 to be universally recommended. Plan to purchase one myself at some point.

    The black does look like old style single stage auto paint. Reminds me of a 70's era pearl flake custom job. I've spent too much time moving it around in the light trying to figure out if the reflections are an actual color changing iridescent pearl or just colored glitter. Still not sure.:?:
