Is the version I've got.
V. True!
TBH, I only got mine 'cos it was such a bargain! £3.50/$5... Saw the pics on FT & just assumed those semi-circ. wick holes would suit vert. coils & mesh! It's a bit fiddly building tho'!
I got one of these from FT...despite being more than happy with My 'gang' of Origens!
It was really cheap & I can build it exactly like I do with the 'gens:- twin vert. 1ohm 26g. coils & S/S rope wicks.
It's not bad! It does n't compare to the 'gens (for Me) 'cos the top cap is much thinner &...
I'd luv to try ceramic in My Gennies!...cost/availability of 'em in the UK scuppers the idea tho'...
Using it in My In'Ax Nano clone hybrid dripper gave Me great results tho'...clean, 'neutral' taste; great wicking; the ability to clean coil & wick with just a dry-burn; speed & ease of building...
I can only speak for the clones I've got...
Using S/S rope &/or mesh, I've found that the drippers wick slightly better than the gennies...but this is using My 'difficult'(!) badly-filtered diy NETs...this might not be the case with more conventional juices!
...the brass 22mm one?
Popped one in My basket (20% off sale & could n't resist matching it with a Brass Caravela!!) & wondered if anyone's got/had one?....
Are these clones? I've ordered a Nextiny & another Nextgen from FT (tho' won't see 'em for weeks & weeks!...)
I'm hoping that the insulator in the 510 is removable/replaceable....My existing Nextgens have had to be shelved atm 'cos they're shorting:- I think I've damaged the insulator by...
Thanks for that!
I did look briefly on the '40 thieves' site....so many suppliers & a lot wanted a large M.O.Q.
May risk an order when the country comes back from Their NY hols tho'!
Yeah, I'd agree:- the rum is hinted at, but I was expecting the 'baccy & rum flavours to be much stronger. I may not bother with any more 'booze-topped' 'baccy in future; I had similar result with Borkum Riff's 'Bourbon Whiskey'....both rum & bourbon come across as too sweet, like food...
