    Seeing a doctor if you are worried will do you the most good. There are a kabillian things that could cause this from something coincidental to a reaction to simply your lungs clearing out. Two months is about the time frame some of the gunk from smoking starts breaking loose.

The atty may have some resistance but if the atty is any good it should be negligible. If you are using a Kanthal coil the resistance does not change much...
