    I had a similar situation and it was simply that the batter contact point had some gunk on it, so it wasn't charging. I took the end of a paper clip and scraped the gunk off the head of the battery and then it charged up just fine.

    Day Two

    Regarding the flight -- no problem with the liquid or my four batteries in hand-luggage. Vaped subtly in the airport on both ends, which was a nice advantage over smoking. Saved a lot of time not having to go out to the curb with all the traffic exhaust!
