    'Afternoon everyone... Yesterday's storm didn't last for too long, though cell phone was screaming flash flood alert. I'm finding it interesting that even though I have the same temp and general weather forecasts as others here, I get no heat warnings, just continual flash flood alerts....o_O

    :lol:...I have books on my wish list that go so far back in time, that Amazon was primarily a good source for not much beyond books, with what I think was their only warehouse then for shipping, situated in Sparks, NV....;)

    I bought 3 USB drives.... creating a new recovery drive from the PC yesterday went just fine. The other 2 I've tried on a laptop...starts out and then says 'can't be created'...:( I'll try again....:unsure:

    Got a question for those who are far more computer literate than I... Are flash drives a 'crap shoot'? Or am I just too dumb? Tried 2 different brands....new drives....to create a recovery backup...neither of them worked....:(
