I'm so happy you got a solution!!! :) I tried both of mine without the diamond end caps and had the same problems. For me it's not the diamond end caps. I have one with one on it right now and it's doing fine.- kblush

Terrible chemically taste in mouth and I smell weird. HELP!!
An update! I'm not out of the woods yet! Although I haven't had the chemically taste in my mouth for days now, today I can just taste a yucky taste and smell when I breathe!!!
