    Mine used to last about 2 years. It's important that you use the correct tamping and grind so that the pump doesn't strain too much. But it works like a charm. Once the pump is gone, save the boiler provided it's not burnt, and throw the rest away, useless. But save the boiler, it's very expensive.

    I'm about to ditch mine in favor of the Vinci X. If they only fixed the dt, I'm in love. Now that that exists I'm not using the BB so much anymore. it's too much of a hassle.
