    Provape 'boxmod'

B&M owners might disagree. For better or for worse .... the demand for higher wattage is there. China wouldn't be pumping them out like they are if there wasn't, as their only goal is to meet demand for profit. Obviously the overall market share is dominated by ciga-like/ego style ecigs...

    SXmini mod ... Yihi

I don't care where a device is made ... a good product is a good product. Having that attitude doesn't make you a sell out, it makes you a savvy shopper.

    Provape 'boxmod'

The question is ... what is the overall demand compared to 3 years ago. Obviously it's more (last time I heard, they were selling pretty well internationally as well) however when compared to increase in market volume ... my guess is it's less. I mean ... Joe Blow can make mods in his garage...

What's the retail on the BMI? I forget. The one mod I think is absolutely stunning is the Appalachian Mod. I'd love to have one.

    Provape 'boxmod'

I've been saying it for 2 years ... Provapes refusal to meet the demand of the market will slowly erode its market share and perception. Becoming a "niche" product in THIS industry is not a smart business move IMHO. I find it sad because I respect Provape and what they stand for. Their...

    SXmini mod ... Yihi

I guess the reasoning is that they don't want to make it easier to reverse engineer. But in the end that's a bit ridiculous. USB or not, if someone wants to reverse engineer their firmware ... it's going to happen.

    SXmini mod ... Yihi

Agreed. But again, we are speculating that IF there is a problem, that it would be in the firmware. We don't know if or what problems there might be with YiHi's version of TC. Still, the potential of being able to fix something on your own is appealing and could one day prove to be a...

Do I need a VW box for a better experience? (faster production, better consistancy, less gunk)

VW will give you a more consistent vape from start to end of a battery for sure. It will also eliminate resistance as a factor in battery drain. More production? Meh. It will give you more OPTIONS regarding production. You can lower your wattage for a mild vape or increase your wattage...

    SXmini mod ... Yihi

I own both YiHi and Evolv chips and enjoy them all. My DNA 40 works flawlessly, just as my SX300 series chips. It's not simply a black and white issue. Also keep in mind that we have no clue if the SX350J will have its' own set of issues. If it does, let us hope it's in the software and...

    IPV4 preorder

LOL ... friggin a. Why do I keep thinking unregulated on ECF! Meanwhile on reddit I'm explaining the difference between power drain on regulated VW and nonregulated. This is the second time in two days that I have done this. lol

    IPV4 preorder

That's going to be the biggest draw back IMHO. I'd personally rather have parallel batteries with buck and boost, allowing for longer run times. Of course, if the 330 chip series had both buck and boost, there would be no point in the more expensive 350 series.

    IPV4 preorder

YiHi's specs on this chip is a little confusing. 100 watts but only outputs max of 7 volts? Can only go down to 7 watts? Maybe their spec sheet is wrong ...

    Ok DNA40 hitting temp help

If you have any PG around try it. Guarantee you don't hit temp control as quickly .... A few people are having decent results by adding 3-5% water to their VG juices.

    Ok DNA40 hitting temp help

VG doesn't hit boiling point until ~554 degrees F. So until you reach that temperature there will always be VG in the wick being heated with the coil. The VG essentially becomes a thermal insulator for the coil, which requires longer cool down periods. With a tank ... fresh (and COOL)...

    Ok DNA40 hitting temp help

High VG juices are going to hit temp control MUCH quicker than 50/50 or higher PG juices. High VG works much better in a tank that can handle high VG.

    TC in RTA

They work better than RDAs in TC mode for me ... especially with high VG juice. My experience with the DNA 40 has been almost the exact opposite of Busardo's ... I swear. lol

    VaporShark rDNA

Maybe it is only locking the sitting resistance ... perhaps even replacing refinement all together. I've never had the refinement issue on my rdna ... atleast nothing I noticed. Now if I have a tank and I let it sit, my first pull will be weak. But that's just because of wick saturation ...

Hcigar HB DNA 40 anticipation thread

I bought the scratch n dent rDNA 40 at the $50 discount and I haven't had a single issue thus far. The issues seem to be random but the latest chip batches are suppose to be glitch free. In fact, VaporShark is suppose to make an announcement today about the latest release, which appears to...
