    VaporShark rDNA

The scratch n dents are not refurbished units. They are new units that didn't pass QC. Speaking of ... I FINALLY found the scratches on my unit. It's on the inside battery compartment. The battery completely blocks this flaw so I never noticed it until today while checking to see if any...

    VaporShark rDNA

Another note ... I've never had issue with my resistance changing as I vape in TC like some people claim. Only if I unscrew a hot atty and screw it right back on will my resistance change from the original. (Which is obviously by design) But as far as my nickel resistance changing on screen...

    Cola Gummy

Pretty much. They taste very similar (at least to me). Cosmic Fog liquids tend to be stronger in flavor but this one is relatively on par. And those who find it's not as flavorful can always increase the percentages of this recipe. CF's doesn't have Koolada and to me, it adds a nice touch...

My scratch n dent rDNA40 has a build date of 11/08/2014 and so far I've experienced no problems. *knock* *wood*

    Scutch - RWhy4 Reloaded

Glad you found it enjoyable one way or another. Odd that it didn't taste great to you in the RDA (though everyone has different taste buds). For me, the taste doesn't really change with any atomizer I use. I will say though that Toasted Almond is a pretty strong flavor. In fact, in my...

Ah... similar to what Provape does with their chips. Nice

    VaporShark rDNA

I honestly don't even see a point in the coating. I mean correct me if I'm wrong but I'd image water can still leak through the mod via all the spaces and "cracks" in the casing. Places like the battery door, buttons, and usb port gaps.

    [dna40] rail box ?

I personally don't like the idea of airflow being in the same compartment as the battery. One word ... venting. And not just thermal runaway venting, rather the natural venting of chemicals such as oxygen and hydrogen as a battery is used. Not saying this is dangerous, rather it just seems...

    Cola Gummy

Glad you like it. It's one of my ADVs and I agree, the Koolada adds a nice twist. Because of it, I prefer my recipe over Cosmic Fog's version.

    TC Builds and Troubleshooting

Flash point of nicotine is 207 degrees F. So obviously we ARE vaporizing some nicotine. I'm just interested in knowing what percentage based on our temps. I'd imagine that we wouldn't be inhaling 100% of the nicotine unless we reach the boiling point (But I'm no chemist so I can't say that...

    TC Builds and Troubleshooting

I just put this to the test and sure enough ... a 50/50 mix maintains temp control much better. Not sure why I never thought of this but now it CLICKS. This is actually invaluable information for people just learning temp control IMHO. Just goes to show that there is more science behind...

    TC Builds and Troubleshooting

I never even thought of that. That would also partially explain why flavors can be perceived to be better. Most flavors are suspended in PG, so in theory ... we might be vaporizing our flavorings quicker than the VG base itself. (It would also explain why you can't dry burn the cotton dry at...

    TC Builds and Troubleshooting

Anyone able to achieve 25+ watts on a RDA @ 400-420 degrees without reaching temp control nearly instantly? This is the one thing I've yet been able to do. I've tried larger ID coils ... thicker and thinner strips of cotton ... different wrap counts ... etc etc. Seems almost impossible to...

    VaporShark rDNA

I keep my skin on all the time, just slipping it off to replace the battery. But I've got a dual 20watt 2.4amp usb wall wart coming so I can use zip charging and not have to worry about replacing the battery at all. You can use the passthrough while charging or just switch to another mod while...

    VaporShark rDNA

Been rocking my rDNA with an Orchid v6 and haven't experiences a single chip flaw yet. So far, this has been one of the best vaping purchases I've made ... and I've been vaping for 5+ years.

    SXmini mod ... Yihi

The higher the current, the more drain on the battery. Current = Voltage / Resistance. Running at 20 watts on a 3 ohm coil requires 7.74 volts. (Requires 2.58 amps) Running at 20 watts on a 0.5 ohm coil requires 3.16 volts. (Requires 6 amps) The battery will last longer on the 3 ohm coil ...

    VaporShark rDNA

It's more "tuneable" in the sense that you have two modes to select from (Regulated and Temp Control). Temp Control simply allows you to vape at different temperatures. Benefits include potential increase in flavor, and if your temp is low enough ... no dry hits or burned cotton. In the...

Went to 9 wraps and it's making a WORLD of difference! You the man jazzvaper, thank you very much. Thanks for the congrats Jbryant as well. Rocking temp control at 40 watts now and it's hitting much harder (hotter as well) and maintaining temp wayyyy better. :toast:

Getting ready to go back to the hospital to see my new baby boy (been there most of the day) so I will try that once I get home and report back. I dunno, perhaps I'm experiencing a placebo effect. lol The thing is, I tend to take slower ... long ... lung hits. So that could be part of...
