My DH's mother is 96, in an assisted living facility. Her mind is about gone. She knows us all, she just can't remember anything for more than 5 seconds. We can't visit her, but today stopped by with my homemade chopped liver that she loves (her mother's recipe - I am the only one who spent time...
I have an order (to Florida) that came in through NY instead of Miami that is floating around the east coast.... FT shipped in good time, just taking forever to get here. Not FT's fault!
Our governor has put restrictions on inter-state travel. Everything but essentials is closed. Parks, beaches, hotels, restaurants (except take out/curbside delivery), etc. Fortunately liquor stores still open. I do understand how important meeting your Aunt is, but at this time I would have to...
Years ago when I was making my own NETs (naturally extracted tobacco - I don't really vape tobacco flavors anymore), we used 3 micron filters. I don't have enough to make a mask, but geesh, guess we had something back then....
Some people are so creative!! I love this, a good smile, which I think we all need right now.
Hope it plays for you, I have been having problems with videos all day..
We went to town yesterday and stocked on basic liquor.... We live in a very rural area near a small town. The local Winn Dixie even had toilet paper (although we don't need any and didn't buy any). We also have a wonderful farm stand with lots of great fresh veggies. We have plenty of meat...
We ventured into the small town we live closest to to shop for groceries. It looked like a war zone! Almost no canned goods, pasta, pasta sauce, bread was lean. Of course the paper goods isles were bare. We did get meat, eggs, and at one store frozen veggies. This is crazy!!!
Our barnhunt...
On our way home from Louisville, stopped at Chic Filet for lunch. Everything served packaged and in bags, no open tray serving. Condiment stations cleared, if you want anything you must ask the counter person or server who brings your food. Drink refills get a new cup.
O'Charley's for dinner -...
A big 4 day cluster of dog shows Louisville has been canceled after 2 days. We packed up and heading home today.. So many shows canceled across the country, who knows when they will start again. Means no income for us other than web site orders until???
We are OK, but others not so much..
Janet, it's Spring Ahead..... We loose an hour... I also wish they would just leave it at one or the other. Serves no purpose anymore but to screw with people's internal clocks...
Years ago I had a Golden Retriever I taught to find my scent (it's an obedience exercise). I was working in computers at the time, and my boss and I had worked together several times at different places/jobs so we were good friends.
Company picnic - I asked "Jack" for a $20 bill. I crumpled it...
For cleaning surfaces and such, bleach. I need to ask him what he recommends for this situation.
From my limited knowledge, I think Classy has a winner here. Vinegar is an excellent cleanser, and tea tree oil is microbiobial (is that a word?), antiseptic and healing.
From what I have read/heard - symptoms are basically the same as the flu. I recently had the "crud", I felt pretty awful. I went to the Dr right away - tested for strep and flu, both were negative. I felt basically like total crap for about 2 weeks - sore throat, congestion, dry cough, achy...
To top off our recent accomplishments, this morning in the 30 degree weather Geordi found his rat to earn his Barnhunt RATN (Novice rat finder)! This is so much fun!, but hard. He has to indicate the actual (protective) tube with the live rat in it in bales and piles of straw, and I have to be...
