I just gave tje arbiter another shot after having some difficulties with the wake RTA. I love it now!!! ..... Ok. Definitely great buy. I'm very happy he recommended it to me now. The juice consumption is fine with me now after seeing what the wake does. Lol.... It's perfect for my "smoke"...
Ok awesome. It seems really intermittent almost. Like I was just puffing it and it didn't leak that time. Maybe I was doing it too hard like you said, causing it to maybe draw up too much. I noticed that the RTA tanks feel like a tighter draw than the drop ins I was using.
I don't notice anything different yet. Is someone gonna notify us when changes are made or is it gonna be obvious? I'm also just using the site on mobile. Not sure if it makes a difference but it would probably good for seeing if there's any difference between desktop and mobile with updates.
I think an MTL tank will be my next one, I might actually get another setup too, cause now I got a bunch of tanks and only 1 mod. I want to get an MTL when I wanna be more discreet.
Quick question, my wake started leaking at the bottom when it got too hot. On my way to work it didn't, but when I got here I got a little over zealous and hit it a lot. It started leaking from the bottom. I've read that not enough cotton can cause this. Does that apply to after it gets hot too?
It's a learning curve. Don't get me wrong, the other tank has amazing flavor and more advanced leak protection. I wish it had better spitback protection, but I'm gonna try a different coil setup in it sometime.
I'm the second type. Lol I got it at 70 watts right now lol. It's weird cause the drop ins wouldn't give me as rounded of a flavor as this does. At that wattage*
I'm gonna give the arbiter2 another try sometime, I think I'm actually gonna change that setup to smaller coils though. I figure, smaller coil, less cotton, less juice consumption... Yeah?
I really really like this wake tank. I actually think I got it nearly perfect after ....ing with it for a while. The juice tastes great. Even got sweetness to it. It's not too overpowering, and despite it consuming more juice. I filled to the top, and drove to work which is like 35 min, I used...
....!!!! It's leaking out the air holes in the bottom!!! What did I do? I think I may know, I closed the airflow and sucked on it to make extra sure there was enough juice on the wick. I think I actually just flooded it. Maybe the culprit was me. Lol.
Ok, so the stuffy nose I got was just part of the ongoing cold I have had for the last week. None of it was vape related.
I just built the wake RTA with two "22AWG+0.4*0.08MM NI80+A1 3mm 0.6+0.05ohm" coils. And some COTN cotton. I used strawberry ice sadboy juice. It actually works pretty great...
I make sure I prime them well, and let it sit for 15-30 min. But I think I spoke my coil going into exsisence, right after I updated that post I got a hit with a burned taste. Weird enough, it's sometimes like that for 1 then Its fine. I think it's definitely time to change it now tho. I really...
I suppose in that in th grand scheme of things, buying things really supports the vape industry, and they probably need it most right now.
I wanna try giving the wake RTA a shot. I'm gonna try to build it later after I get home from work. I have these smaller coils, they're called "super tiger...
I can't find the post where someone asked me about it he Valyrian coils longevity. But since I made that post, it's been like nearly a week and a half I think, still going strong, no burning, white cotton, and I chain. Vape the f out of it at about 75watts. Still good flavor as well. appearantly...
Also now that I got all the goodies, I'm gonna go home and mess with that wake RTA I got for 5$. I'm not expecting a whole lot, I just wanna fiddle with it.
Yay thank you. I'll try this out. I actually think the coil building is pretty cool, it's just im super freaking spoiled by these mesh drop ins. I had an old vape I said didn't taste like anything, my dad hit it and said it tasted like candy. I think my taste buds are just... Bad.
Alright. I have no idea what I was thinking. I had another RTA that's older I got discount. I should have tried that before getting this one. For some reason I thought maybe a newer RTA would be a comparable alternative to the drop in coils. Now I see the difference.
Can I put a mesh coil in an arbiter2 or do I have to get a whole new tank? I dunno. I might just save my money up again and get a tank with pre made coils... I'm feeling some buyer's remorse. Im totally lost when it comes to this stuff. I think I'll still keep it in rotation maybe... Its a good...
Please someone tell me something is just wrong. Lol. Like 8 hits at 75 watts sucked up a half tank of juice. It's way to much for me... And after comparing it to my premade mesh coils... It's not very tasty. I think maybe I just got the wrong one.
