Please help me choose a rebuildable system.

Normally I'd agree, but 26 gauge kanthal is pretty darn close to what's supplied with the kit.

Please help me choose a rebuildable system.

As a good practice, I always recommend having an ohmmeter. If for some reason your mod isn't reading correctly, you'll at least have something to compare to. As far as the wire goes, 26 gauge kanthal is just about perfect for the subtank. It's what I use every time, for rebuilding the occ heads...

    Another Noob

If you end up getting a REO, you'll love it. They're pricy, but borderline indestructible and much more convenient than dripping. As a truck driver you'll appreciate not having to do that lol. Your e grip is still a nice mod, especially for the price and size. Seriously though, give the REO a look.

About to give up on vaping

I'm going to go ahead and recommend doing some extensive tests with your doctor (s). Sure, it MIGHT be vaping that is causing some of your symptoms, but it's really not that likely. If you think it might be vaping, or your doctor does, why not switch to a different NRT? Swedish snus, patch, gum...

Sub ohm on the sub box mini

It's possible that the OP is not inhaling fast enough. If there's not enough airflow, it'll definitely heat up.

I'll generally catch shinyitis, then wait a while until I find out how awesome or not they are. I managed to hold off on the subox mini for myself, just to see if they're going to release a spring loaded 510. Turns out they are lol. I have a feeling this will retail for $40 to $50, so hopefully...

    Twisted coils on 28 guage.

Are you running a regulated mod or a mechanical? If you're using a high wattage regulated mod, why not just up the watts? You're right about the resistance, btw. Dual coils halve it.

    Traveling with my vape...

Yeah, it's a definite no go situation there. E juice is fine in pretty small quantities; 100ml bottles are good as long as they're in a quart bag, right?

    Traveling with my vape...

You're definitely allowed to have personal electronics with batteries. This includes e cigs; I've traveled a couple times domestically and through airports since vaping, and I always make sure it's out in the open, same as my cell phone, when I get my luggage screened.

So I built my first dual coil head..

Because the coils aren't exactly the same. Even on my dripper, I have to tweak dual coils for a while to get them exactly the same. Have you tried strumming the coils with a flathead screwdriver? At this point you're delving into the PFM section of vaping.

    GRRRRR USPS is horrible.

I have actually managed to lose something between the store and the car. Dropped a new tank into the storm drain. Felt like a boss.

So I built my first dual coil head..

Well, most of the time when I mess up its something incredibly basic. I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my mod the other day and worked down a little list in my head... forgot to insert the battery lol. I'm glad it's worked out for you.

    1 week vaping/smoke free

Joyetech eVic-VT 60W 5000mAh Temp Control Full Starter Kit price is much cheaper here, ships from the states with great shipping times. Shipping is free with orders above $75. You'll be amazed at the battery life on that thing, and the vapor it makes along with flavor.

Moving from E-Cig to Ego or PV, need help please...

Just a heads up, pretty much everything from vaporfi is way overpriced. Most of it is just rebranded hardware from other companies. I'd recommend the istick 30w to someone just moving up the ladder. Cheap, decent quality and power, when paired with an Aspire Nautilus mini has great flavor and...

    Harsh popping and sizzling

Do you mean 70% VG? If so I agree. Super smooth, not harsh at all.

So I built my first dual coil head..

Don't give up! You can do it! But seriously, those dual coils are a pain in the .... to get right on Prebuilt heads. Single coils work great for just about every head you can buy. Getting the wraps right is pretty critical. You'll get bad taste from the uneven heating and could cause other...

New Efest batteries won't fire my mech

I'd go one step further and suggest never buying efest and only buying proven batteries from reputable vendors. With how cheap batteries are, there's no reason to pay almost as much money for terrible equipment.

So I built my first dual coil head..

Are you sure they're the same number of wraps? That does cause some issues when using a dual coil setup (different ramp up times, among other things). I ask because I did that once and vaped one coil dry and one coil was still nice and wet.

I realizethat. I'd just like something a tiny bit more compact, just so there is a better fit in my holster.

    Shouldnt dripping be dead

If you've got a deep well in your dripper, I've found that it lasts about as long as a cigarette. Perfect time for me personally.
