Amount of "loops" in a coil

No problem! I didn't start rebuilding until my subtank occ decided to stop working and all I had was the rba. Best move I've made for vaping enjoyment. Pretty soon you'll be doing builds in 5 minutes.

    Derringer build

I'd say no. There isn't a huge difference in flavor or vapor.

    Derringer build

I had a good chunk of this weekend with time to burn sitting in my shop, so I tinkered. Honestly it could be much better; the mounting bit still gets me. The twisted stuff is way easier than it looks though, especially if you have a drill and clamps/vise grips available. I don't think it's worth...

How long does your nichrome build last?

Did you dry burn and then rinse? I just do that as many times as it takes to get em clean.

Amount of "loops" in a coil

Ni200 wire is much lower resistance than kanthal, almost an astronomical difference. A .6 ohm Ni 200 coil would be massive.... if you used a 2.5mm inner diameter coil it would be 50 wraps of 30 gauge wire. Not a typo.

Amount of "loops" in a coil

If you're happy with the pre-made coils, just keep in mind that they're much more expensive than buying the wire by itself and wrapping em. It's really not hard at all, and it'll have a nice payoff. I can spend 5 bucks for enough wire to last for a long long time.

Advice on a regulated battery for sub ohm vaping

If you're doing sub ohm builds, please don't buy Efest batteries. They are rewrapped and not actually rated for what they put on the label. There are quite a few other batteries to choose from, and all of em are better than an efest.

Do you save your coil builds?

There's a definite learning curve there. I'll get it. Appreciate the help!

Do you save your coil builds?

I said earlier that I never save, but I've been messing with some ridiculously intricate builds here lately. I just finished a chain link coil (idk if there's an official name for it, it's a 4 wire braided with the wires being 32 gauge twisted) that took me an hour or so. It just looks so pretty...

Where do newbies start these days?

I feel like it's important to note that no one person needs the exact same setup to quit smoking. I just feel that the 30w istick and nautilus mini are a great starting point. If that doesn't work for them, or if they try my setup (derringer atm, sometimes subtanks) then I don't have any problem...

Any see through or glass rdas?

The aris drip and pro by council of vapor. Idk of any places that have them in stock, but those are the two I've seen.

Where do newbies start these days?

I'll second the istick30w and nautilus mini. They're both good pieces of kit, long battery life and the vapor feels similar to smoking. Just coming off smoking, using mouth to lung, and then going to a straight lung hit at 40 watts is a big change. I bought the istick/nautilus combo quite a few...
