    An LG HB-series will have the safest overhead for CDR at that wattage for a VTC Mini, but the charge life will be short. Trade the safety margin for the shorter life: over-stressing a lower CDR battery will not play well for the battery.

    There are a lot of "could be's" causing what's happening. Spit back usually comes along with popping from the coil as the juice boils off, and you'll get hot juice hitting your lips/tongue. Sometimes the vapor of sweet juices will condense (re-liquify) in your mouth and leave a sweet, wet taste...

    Either open it up and dab out the excess with a tissue, or hold the tank bottom end up whilst vaping to expose the juice holes and vape off the excess.

    We blame it on the dog too, but he's been in the little wooden box on the mantle for a year now, so it's a tough sell.. Cat farts can be equally devastating at close range though, and those little mooches are still around the house. :D

    The only "issue" I've had with mine thus far has been related to the coils. Had the Ni coil in for just short of two weeks and when it went bad, it was sudden and unmistakable BAD. <blecchh! burnt hits!> The new .25Ω coil I replaced it with is a wannabe leaker. :(
