Are you refering to the Melo 2 tank from Eleaf? <scratching head> I thought they were compatible with the Triton coils from Aspire... Anyways, the tank getting warm is normal if you're chain vaping. Not much to worry about really.
Haven't kept up on the Linux world for a while, nor was I a Mint user (Ubuntu and Debian for me) but it's remotely possible that some of the Windows emulators like WINE could work for upgrading mods. Straight-out Linux-based updaters from the mod manufacturers? Nerp.
I'm going to work a little backward-to-forward on your questions.
1) If you are smoking less than you were before you started vaping, you're in a perfectly normal place. 2 or 3 cigs a day is better than a pack a day. ;)
2) There should be a stickied post at the top of the Forum with Registered...
As near as I can tell, that style of coil has been discontinued. Hard to tell what resistance it might be, but I'd guess it's the 1.8Ω. On a VV batt, around 4v would be a good basis point to work from, based on my experience with the 1.8Ω Aspire coils. 4.8v? Gonna be nasty.
Not all juices are created equal. :yawn: Experimenting with juices and flavors is just one of the joys (and frustrations at times) of vaping.
Glad to have been of help, and again, welcome to ECF! :)
You are welcome. :) Also take a minute to read the post from @Susan-S - good info in there as well.
Some people can do 18mg on 0.5Ω setups, others can't - and I'm one of them at this point. 3-6mg is probably going to serve you better. Start with the 6mg.
Pictures work marvelously. ;) So you have the 0.5Ω coil installed. Which at 7.5 watts shouldn't be giving harsh hits unless:
The coil has been run dry or at too high a power setting and the cotton wicking in the coil is burned. Once a coil is burned, it never tastes right again. Or;
The nic...
Do you know what resistance coil is installed in the tank? It should be displayed on the screen of your mod. Post back with that and we'll try getting you headed in the right direction.
There's some 12x12 stuff like that sitting under the carpet in my daughter's room down here in the basement. I did a full remodel on it after a plumbing leak. Didn't touch the tile. Didn't relish the thought of trying to lift tile that's been down since the 60's and probably contained asbestos...
I have nothing to make an objective comparison to in relation to the original topic. I stopped smoking and started vaping full-time after a brief transition period and haven't had a cigarette since. That being said, there are certain sensory memories that I miss about smoking - the smell of a...
I'm half-blind in each eye. Which is why I umpire baseball. :w00t:
No, really, just middle-age myopia setting in.
I know, it sounds weird, but to these eyes it was easier to see the fluid level in the Mega than it was in the Tron.
No, no, no! Doing it wrong! You're supposed to recite the Pledge of Allegiance while brushing coils! I thought everybody knew that. Hmmpphh.
:lol:
{Yes, I brush my coils too. It works. Don't care how or why. It just does. That's all that matters.}
I'm not intimately familiar with what's available in the EU/Malta market - hoping that one of our European brethren can jump in here with advice on that front.
If you're able to purchase from the UK, the Kanger Subox kit may be one of the best options for you to look at. Good device, good...
Yeah, I'm just not a big fan of the Tron tank for some reason. Not that there's anything wrong with it operationally, but viewing the liquid level in it is.. bothersome.
