    Great answer from DC2, vapdivrr,mattiem & classwife! Nicotine without all the other additives in cigarettes is not addictive. There isn't a single study that shows it to be addictive as PH,TC and the FDA have all been claiming. This claim was based on a self experiment done before 1856 I think...
