I've sent my votes in but keep in mind there are professional contest chasers out there with thousands of associates at their disposal. FiiO (audio device manufacturer) ran a similar contest many years ago. I had the top picture spot until the last hour when I was beat out by someone who...

How to build accurately with SS316L on non-step-up mods (ohm jumps)?

A lot of the early (low end) YiHi chips lacked a step down function. 26ga is definitely the way to go for your use case, I think you will be very pleased with the results.

How to build accurately with SS316L on non-step-up mods (ohm jumps)?

Once I switched over fully regulated or DNA based mods, I stopped letting mods dictate the way I vaped and started vaping as I wanted to. This is one reason why my mechanical and unregulated mods didn't see a lot of use.

How to build accurately with SS316L on non-step-up mods (ohm jumps)?

The old iPV D2 had no step down, it was a great mod unless you need lower wattage with a sub ohm coil. You could get around this problem by switching it over to Joule mode and making the TC setting high.

It's safe and nothing like nickel or titanium.

How to build accurately with SS316L on non-step-up mods (ohm jumps)?

I run 6 wraps of 26ga N80 (2.5mm/0.62Ω) at 25W in my MTL Steam Crave tank, awesome vape and I get 3 days runtime using a dual battery mod.

How to build accurately with SS316L on non-step-up mods (ohm jumps)?

A sub 0.5 ohm build with 28ga is difficult unless you are using parallel coils, stepping up to 26ga would be a better choice. If you are steadfast on 28ga, Nifethal 52 would give you 6 wraps of 28ga on 3mm for 0.337Ω, if you went to Nifethal 70 you could have 12 wraps for 0.352Ω. NiFe's...

Not a problem, if you ever change your mind it will be here in a box. You might want to try a paint/varnish stripper, I had excellent results removing the paint from my Hohm Tech Slice with that. I removed the electronics, screen and other plastic parts before I started the stripping process...

Sorry I don't have any extras, but if you want to cover the mailing cost I'll gladly send you my raw version. It's been sitting in a box for quite a while and doesn't see much use these days. I only dug it out for the picture after I read your post. ;) I'm moving at the end of the month so...

    What's your all day vape?

Since the flavor ban here 2 years ago I've switched to unflavored and gone back to MTL tanks. Life is easy with 50/50 juice and my builds last forever. ;)

Anybody still use silica wick coils?

I have a few containers of them still kicking around I think. I'm moving at the end of the month so they will probably be located then. I'd gladly send you what I have left if you PM me your mailing address.

Anybody still use silica wick coils?

Those Boden BD13 wicks are a total PiTA to wrap, the wire had to be red hot (butane torch) while wrapping or you would get gaps that caused hot spots. We all had a small butane torch in those days from using mesh wicks, which are still my favourite from all the old wicks. Mesh wicks had the...
