If you guys are talking about the RBA section that is listed on Ebay and mentioned in the Kabuki thread it DOES NOT work with Kabuki. Some have already received it and the 510 pole/pin or whatever is too long. Someone even tried it with the P3 base but then the chimney wouldn't screw all the way...
A lot of people were ...... off it closed in 44 seconds (60 units were available). Some asked about doing a pre-order but that was shot down rather quickly. Unfortunately, these flash sale style lists seem to be the only way.
Well, i got on the CloudOne list this morning. Usually i refuse to do the special FB list thing but since i was sitting at my computer anyway when it went live i figured i might as well try. The tootle puffer in me is excited now, it seems to get really good reviews.
Maybe these will help those with a short 510:
$2.25 Rubber Insulation Rings for eGo Batteries (50-Pack) 50-pack - grey at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
Good to have anyway in the spare parts bin.
If i'm not mistaken, it should be 2.5mm airflow when fully open. I have mine turned down just enough to where you can't see the air hole. Definitely more air than a KFL. I don't sub-ohm or have any sub tanks so can't comment on the air flow of those in relation to the Gem.
If both adapters are 24.50, then:
Heron V2 Hybrid will be 125 + 24.50 (for 510) = 149.50
Heron V2 510 is 134.50 (125 + 9.5) + 24.50 (for hybrid) = 159
Do i have that correct?
Yes, the Tile has juice control. I found i needed to open it up more to get it to feed properly but with Rayon and my 2mm ID coil, which is barely enough wick to fill juice channels, it's fine line between feeding properly and flooding.
I don't know if it has airflow for 40-50w, i only vape...
In my experience, i get better flavor and a fuller/denser vape from 2mm coils vs 2.5/3mm coils. My only guess is that the air passes over the thinner coil more efficiently, reaching more of the top of the coil. I'm no expert, so I don't really know if that is what is happening. Also, i'm sure my...
I appreciate the help but please don't waste too much time looking at the Tile. I'm sure i can figure it out with more trail and error i was just frustrated earlier that it wasn't so simple to switch over form cotton like my devices. I really think the issues is my coil diameter, which is only...
Yeah, but the tails have to be a certain thickness or i get flooding. I think the thickness of the tails required to stop flooding is not optimal, too thick, for the coil to feed properly. Maybe the Tile just isn't good for Rayon. Maybe i have to go with a bigger diameter coil so i can trim the...
I did order from 3F and it shipped this morning :(. Oh well, guess i'll see when it gets here. At least the whole thing comes apart easily and can be fixed. Maybe i should have stuck with the Nectar and just changed the shrink wrap. Another reminder it's always good to wait for reviews.
I haven't had any problems with Rayon after the learning curve but i just can't seem to get it right in my GG Tilemahos. If i stuff it in there i get wicking issues, center of wick starts to turn black pretty quickly and off flavor. If i go with less wick i don't have enough to fill the channel...
I don't want to bother with replacing the shrink tubing so i canceled and grabbed the snapdragon instead. I love the Magma and i love the Rose (aside from building it), so i think i will be happy with the snapdragon.
No worries, it wasn't me that asked for them i just responded to your last post regarding the nectar. I held off before because i didn't care for the blue/pink colored tanks but the new one listed on FT has two tanks blue and gold/yellow. I'll probably just use the gold/yellow on one of my shiny...
I vaguely remember there being a note on the website or something mentioned in this thread a long time ago about tracking not being available for group buys even if you pay for it. I paid for it on my first group-buy not knowing this and of course the number was useless. Haven't paid for it...
