I just found this useful pdf document describing installing a dna40 into a fastech hana modz case. Thought I'd share the information:

I hope someone finds this useful.
I wrapped my fill screw with teflon (plumber's) tape. I not only tore the o-ring but the threads stripped. It works now. I have to replace it every 10 tanks or so.
I'm pleased with my Kraken. I have only wicked with cotton and rayon. I'll try SS mesh eventually. It's the only genny I've tried and I like it. I'm not sure it is very pocket friendly, though. The top/cover on my clone is fairly loose. Mine also leaks if I leave it on its side.
Still, easier...
Set the temperature higher. The wattage has no effect because you are being temperature limited. Also, you might not have good wicking. If the coil is dryish it will get hot without any vapor. You could also try all the usual raise/lower the coil things that folks have been doing with kanthal...
the orchid is dual coil. That can be difficult with a vamo because you need to keep the ohms above 1.2 or so. Dual coils are also harder to build than single. The fogger 4 and 5 are also dual coil and have the same problem. I would recommend a russian or kayfun lite+. The only push on part is...
Bopslinger: I meant to quote your post but failed. Here is my response about charging.
I don't think any mods with parallel batteries do any balanced charging. They usually just use the same usb charger used for single 18650 batteries. I think they all recommend you use paired cells to avoid...
I agree with the single coiled magma. It works great on my MVP. 1.7 ohms and the middle air hole open (and the opposite hold closed). With the MVP's beauty ring the extra long 510 connector on the magma is disguised, an added advantage.
The rose is in stock at focalecig.com's usa warehouse. I ordered on Tuesday and it's in the mail now with a friday delivery expected. Many folks say that this Pallas version is the best clone. That's why I chose this one.

Dry burnt usually means too much wick in the slots. It plugs them up so not enough juice gets through. Flooding/gurgling is usually not enough wick in the slots so juice is sneaking through. I use a 3/32" coil (2.4mm) with rayon. It seems to work out fine.
I sometimes get burnt hits when my...
There is a thread with way more than you want to know about that here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/560010-printed-dna30-bottom-feeder.html
He also has made a non-regulated one discussed in the same group.
Or, you can get a clone of the erlkonigin at FT: $20.75 Erlkonigin Style Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (8ml) - stainless steel + PMMA tank / 20.7mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$15.75 to $20.75 depending on model/manufacturer. I want one now.
I have a fluke 87 true rms multimeter (about 10-15 years old, over $300). It only reads to 0.1 ohms and I have to zero out the lead resistance which is usually about 0.2 ohms. It does zero out with one button which makes things easy.
You could just take an alligator clip attached to some copper...
I find that adding 0.5% to 1% EM sweetener solution to my unflavored gets rid of some harshness. I use 95% vg / 5% distilled water at 10 mg/ml. I was using heartland vapes 100 mg/ml nicotine. Now I'm using MFS. It seems about the same. There is just a hint of pepper. I like it.
Don't ignore the taifun gt atomizer. I like it much more than my kayfun/russian variants. I have no flooding/gurgling problems. You can adjust/replace the coil/wick without draining the tank. I find it easier to build than a kayfun. I get a much better flavor than my kayfuns or fogger. The...
The vacuum is what keeps all the juice from flowing through the wicks and flooding. You need both agoot wick and solid o rings.
Sometimes, when I get flooding I just open it up and add a little extra cotton/rayon over the wicks where they go through the slots. It's easier than rewicking...
The squape needs a nonconductive deck since it doesn't have posts. The screws are connected to power below the deck. The coil is clamped between the screws and the deck. If the deck was conductive there would be a dead short between + and -. The coated chimney prevents shorts if a wire or screw...
