    Yeah, I have pretty much given up on Ni builds for the Kayfuns. :unsure: I am using my Hana now mainly for the "step-down" feature on regular Kanthal builds. No more flashing ohm readings for me.

    Here it is after 2 days use, may have been the lighting that made it look gunky .... could be that is the coil that is "down" when I vape, who knows.

    The dripper with massive air has been doing well all night, so I tried a Kayfun again. 30g on a screw (about 3mm I think), 8 wraps, comes out to 0.21 ohms. Set at 410 degrees, 30 watts, I got about 4 draws, then started getting the temp limit again. Soooo .... I decided to try an acrylic...

    I can't see inside where the chip goes, it's "sealed", but I think it was the 510 connection that was the problem. Whatever they did, it seems fine now. I vaped my battery down, so she's a chargin' now. :D

    I was wondering if the RTAs, like Kayfun, etc, are just too enclosed for the temp control to work optimally. They may retain the heat too much. Are people running large drippers having the same problems?

    For the regular coils (vs micro/macro coils) I found a screw in my garage that was about 3mm, and wrapped around that. The threads were just the right spacing, so I wrapped it, mounted it on the Kayfun, then "screwed" the screw out of it. It worked great and the coil stayed nice and neat with...
