My pet peeve is seeing e-cig commercials featuring people who look like they never smoked a day in their lives! They exhale, yet hardly any vapor comes out and they SMILE.
For WHAT?

For WHAT?
(OOPS...wrong thread...!)
I carry my Provari in a flashlight holder on my belt. Had to do that because carrying e-cigs in my pocket has made me much too familiar with the smell of burning atomizers, and it's much too hefty to wear from a lanyard. But I wouldn't purchase the Twist because of it's "convenient size"; I'd...
You've prompted me to share my "Quote of the Day":
"I keep seeing people with smoke around them but I don't know where it's coming from!"
-Woman at the bus stop who failed to get "a light" from an e-cig user (me).
Well thank you very much for planting that indelibly etched suggestion into my consciousness.
As if that wasn't bad enough, some conscientious member follows the gaping whosis with Portable Electronic Nicotine Inhalation System.
Fan-tastic.
Well my new pet peeve is people who pass their...
Embarrassed about what?
The thought never crossed my mind.
I've always taken for granted that most places indoors adhered to a no-smoking policy, so I generally follow that policy to avoid confrontation. I say "generally" because I'm still gonna vape. I just won't allow anyone to see any...
It IS rather awkward. I find myself reluctant to use it when explaining my...eh...vape experience.
(Just got that red spell check line under "vape"...)
Besides the word sounding a bit pretentious, you give yourself the burden of having to define it to the uninitiated. I usually walk away...
* I hate e-cigarette "news articles" that evolve into advertisements for the "best rated" e-cigarette on the market...
...especially when it advertises a company or brand I've never heard of.
* Kiosk vendors presenting their product as "the real deal".
* And I almost forgot...I hear the...
Ugh...reminds me of a new vaping podcast I had high hopes for. The "knowledgeable host" in the course of touting the "two-piece system" relegates any vaper that didn't use cigarette style pvs (sorry Jin_888!) to drug addicts with their needles and stuff filling their cartomizers and tanks...
I use a tank (The Liquinator)...today I arrived at the same conclusion...it has something to do with the polyfill. I've experience problems with my recent purchase. I had originally attributed the problem to punching holes improperly since I just started punching my own. But if I punch each...
Finished my second listen of episode 3 of Metrovapor and I can't help but walk way with the impression the host does the beginning vapor a serious disservice.
Everyone has personal preferences; this host obviously...I know this because he says this a ba-zillion times...prefers 2 piece...
I wonder how many of us tried to dangle a cig-style from our lips when we first picked it up?
That's the only thing missing from my vaping experience.
But...I'm not willing to pay the price to replace it.
Seems I did hear episode 3, but didn't really listen to what was said. I replayed the episode and find that I generally agree with what was stated.
The host said that he feels e-liquids are for a niche market. He says the average consumer doesn't want to experience the hassle of filling their...
Excellent point. I drifted back into smoking briefly through sheer exasperation and the constant necessity of having to place orders online. In was NJoy appearing in my local convenience stop...and the mall kiosk (God forbid) that nudged me back to sanity.
Wasn't long before I became ticked...
The NJoy King does look intriguing, but the quoted price...not so much.
NJoy was my introduction to vaping. I discovered vaping soon after I made up my mind I wouldn't pay $6.00 a pack for cigarettes. Wouldn't make much sense for me to spend $8.00 (a day?) for a single e-cig.
(And they say...
The Provari certainly doesn't me to defend it. For the record, I couldn't afford one either. I also couldn't afford to keep replacing or purchasing pvs that inevitably failed to meet my expectations. I've spent a small fortune on these things and decided it was time to stop mucking about and...
Me too! You'd think I'd learn by now, but I always change the carto as a last resort. Then after I take my first draw, it's like...
"Oh. It was the carto."
All juice is not created equal.
You can't blame the pv for crappy juice. I'm loyal to Halo brand menthol juices because Halo (in my opinion) tastes better than other brand menthols I've vaped. You'll have to either stick with Greensmoke or find juice of comparable quality.
I know how you feel. I left vaping for maybe 4 or 5 months. In that short amount of time everything had changed. Perhaps changes had begun prior to me quitting ecigs but I hadn't noticed. In some ways I feel sorry for someone new to vaping. It was much simpler in '09 when we started. Today...
