    Yes cyrus the wick does hold up and I do cheat a little.... I tie a knot at each end to make sure it does not unraval. I'm not sure if it would come undone, but I wanted to be safe...:D

    I am not sure if this will help or not but try boiling your wick in water and a maybe a little vinager. that may help but then again...I do not know :oops:

    have you put any silica or cotton wick in the coil with a few drops of vg\pg. If you are just lighting the coil with no wick .... it gets to hot and will smell burnt.

I take 3 or 4 strands of the bamboo and tie a knot on one end and then attach the other end to my drill so it will twist the bamboo into one piece of wick.     How is the taste? I have been trying to think of ways that I could make a duel coil carto.... because those give me good taste and plenty of vapor. Keep it up as I will probably give this a try too. :vapor:
