    ProTank - which coils work best (which resistance)??

    I've been rebuilding mine staight out of the box since day one. Decided this evening to do a build without top wicks based on your post. Running an oval 6 wrap 32ga 2.2ohm Nichrome with hemp wick. Just outstanding! BTW. Pro Tank with EVOD head and stem...no leaks, better draw for me.

    Sweet build Dan! Looks like it should vape like a champ. Nice to have that flw adjustment as it can come in handy not only for different juice viscosity, but also allows to adjust on the fly as that is sometimes needed as the tank gets below 2/3rds full. Good to see Vapian is going to test...

    Durability, or lack thereof...

    Mine got knocked off the counter top with a Pro tank on it. Came apart of course. Soldered the wires that came off at the board, and the negative on the head. Super glued it, so I hope I soldered well. Promptly put my trusty Provari back in back up status.

    Dan, I measure the wall thickness at 4mm. The o-ring is off set slightly to the outer part of the tank, so no more than 2mm from the outside of the tank. From the positive connection, the carto wick inlet holes clear the tank at 9mm.

    I"m able to get rid of most of the brass by using a SS 901-510 adapter in place of the chromed one in the pic. Still have some where the EVOD base ring has to be ground down tho. Any ideas what I could coat that area with?

    Raising the wick holes will pretty much insure the need for NR wouldn't it? Unless you can make the grommet and post long enough to reach just below the coil.

    Yep, found the same thing with rinse only. I rinse out after dry burning the naked coil, then the head gets a bath in my ultra sonic cleaner. Nichrome wire and head comes out as new.
