    Good for you Robin! There is a little boy in our community that was treated for cancer at OU, but the family traveled to DC to see a specialist and they made the calls/decisions on his treatment at OU. It worked out great for them and he is currently cancer free.

    @Opinionated I love cooking too.. I don't do as much in the summer months but during the winter I'm always looking for new things to try. I'm not a fan of 'crust' on a pie, so my go to is Apple Crisp. We don't have desserts much now tho, so I try to focus on meals.

    Strep throat is going around. 2 of 3 kids had it last week. I got tested for it yesterday, but was negative. Happy for that, but this sore throat is a bad one, and I've got stuff to do this weekend. :(

    @Bronze What did you use for heat when you had ice storms and no power? We are total electric, so we used one of those propane heaters- the ones that say do not use indoors.. When you're cold and miserable you'll take the risk.
