What do you mean by cutting you off? If you mean temperature protection that is normal.Try raising your set temperature a little at a time and see if it gets better. All temperature protection means is that it has reached the set temperature and will cut off until it drops then powers again... -

It is pretty close, 9 wraps should give 1.12 ohms.Two things,DNA is better at under 1 ohms so that maybe it and what is your mod resistance set to in escribe? I have the same mod and after watching DJSlbvapes review for it a changed my mod resistance. -

I tried 8 wraps but for some reason 7 wraps seemed better to me.I found my sweet spot! :) -

I agree that SS and TC took it to another level. I was using kf 5's with the smallest air flow restrictor in when i got my first Doggy.I tried the Doggy and then went back to the KF's. After revisiting the Doggy in TC all my KF's have been shelved for the last year. I must have around 10 now... -

I have found my favorite build after much experimenting to be 30 GA SS316 L 2.0 MM id 7 wraps slightly spaced at around 0.9 ohms in TC. Thin wire and a 2.0 mm id coil seem to really help on this. Same build with 28 ga is good but this beats it plus you get way better ramp up and down and battery... -

I am finding 30 ga to be perfect at around 0.9 ohms in TC,great ramp up and down and great battery life.28 GA uses more battery and is slower ramp up and down,still produces a little vapor after i finish vaping.The trouble with 30 ga is it can distort the coil when rewicking a little.
