On the 14500 battery that is used on a VP2.
You will only see a little life gain over a stock 801 battery with 14440 battery. The LEDs use some of that too...
I have a VP2/801 and like it. I skipped on the VP1 as its battery life was only slightly bigger than a stock 801 battery. The 900mah 14500 battery I use gives me about 6 hrs of vaping, so I would still have to tote around a bunch of stuff with a 14440 unit.
A normal AAA is 1.2v, so it won't work.
Same thing here, plus I didn't want to get stuck with having to deal with proprietary batteries every time an issue occurs. I like cheaper, longer lasting, off the shelf stuff better.
Definitely flat tips. After using flat tips exclusively on my 510 and 801 for 3 months, I recently received some round tips. These just feel awkward and large, like I'm hitting on a Cohiba.
Good luck BS10!
If you really want it to happen, it will happen. If it takes a couple days, then so be it. Some can do it from the get go, some a couple days, some longer................. Don't get discouraged. Talk it out about what you are experiencing for help.
Figure about $25 per bat/charger setup. Madvapes carries some of them. Amazon deals can be had also.
I got mine from All-batteries .com and Battery Junction .com
You order the connector of choice, which is preinstalled on the end cap.
You have to order batteries and charger from your supplier of choice. It requires (big Chuck):
1-18650 for 3.7v
2- rcr123 3.0v for 6v
