    I've seen that mentioned before but I can't help myself but to question the relevancy Poppa... After the coil is made and the wick is placed in the ceramic, there is no manipulation of the wick while we are vaping. Also, the wick is wet while while we are vaping so no dry particles flying...

    Yea I know what you mean... I just decided to risk it and go for gold. But a victory shower was necessary afterwards due to high levels of perspiration during the modifying process. Lets just say I was a little nervous :)

    All right, I was just going to make a new coil and decided to take some pics of my modified ceramic for xc-116 wick. For those of you who modified yours (Para, Rick...)... The wick seems to fit in easily but I wonder if I should widen the channels a little more. Thoughts? Thanks.

    Hey fx, I was just kidding about buying the kiln for this. I'm using a torch to pre-treat the xc-116. And don't worry, your english is just fine. It certainly seems much better than my Korean :)

    I was so anxious to start using my ODY again after about an hour and a half (including the cleaning and making the coil) that I completely forgot to take a pic. I will do it for sure next time I make the coil. But I have to warn you that it's not as pretty as Para's :)

    Hey Major, I would just like to add that unlike on the ODY, it's important to not over-tighten the little top cap on the UFS. Its main purpose is to just hold the top o-ring in place.
