Jason told me that it's the loose 3/8" wound ceramic from McMaster Carr. It is good for over 2400 degrees F. and has no asbestos. I tried looking for it briefly but couldn't find the part number.- Vaporologist

On the bright side, this evening I managed to muster enough courage to finally modify my ODY ceramic for the xc-116 wick using the diamond file set from Harbor Freight. It took me over an hour since I was being probably overly cautious and paranoid but it worked out well and came out just right...- Vaporologist

SS stealth cap won't fit
Unless I'm misunderstanding your first post, it sounds like the exact same problem, only with the top tube instead of the telescope. Loft who recently purchase a ssggts #75 second-hand had a problem with his stealth cap not being able to screw on both telescope and top tube. I would suggest...- Vaporologist

Btw, it will also allow for extra 0.5 ml capacity since the ceramic assembly will be able to sit a little lower. This is actually one item that I'm excited about the most!- Vaporologist

It will replace the current 510 ODY base. It is made specifically for GG users and will screw in where you top cap goes in now. It will also eliminate the need for any adapters going through the CT. It's a must have imo!- Vaporologist
