Hey Harley, Imeo has suggested putting the ceramic over a blue flame (gas stove, torch...). That seems to do the trick.
Are you able to remove your ceramic cup easily from the assembly?
I agree... The ODY is the most impressive vaping accessory I've ever seen! It's so nice to finally have something that makes me not want anything else :thumb:
Something important to understand is the the USPS "tracking" is really not tracking, it's Delivery Confirmation. The way I see it is that any tracking updates I actually do get are just a bonus.
Hey Poppa, how do you avoid the flooding during refilling? Do you still screw down the mouthpiece all the way? If so, does the complete pinching of the wick affect its performance later? Thanks.
You may want to try 3.0 ohm at 6V. You would be getting about 5.5V under load which would give just about 10W. Also, I would recommend using Freights suggestion of using a second piece of wick on top (just like it Scott's video), that works really well for me too.
Have fun :)
It could be that your coils is wrapped too tight around the wick which would cause the wick to take longer to re-wet under the coiled area. Do you feel like this could be the reason?
Edit to add: Also, are you using one strand of wick or are you using a second strand in the cup area?
I've used Flitz which is something that was recommended by a few members here. Have you used it? If so, can you compare the end result between the two products?
Thanks.
The original telescope that came with my TS started showing thread marks after a day or so at the top. There was a lot of play between the threads of the bottom tube and the telescope. So, the telescope could lean against the threads of the bottom tube while turning it which resulted in the...
I noticed that same whistling sound with the stealth cap. That's one of the reasons why I prefer using the ODY with the CT, it's quiet and I can tighten up the draw where I find fuller flavor.
