    Just heard back from the company, unless you are using the kit with there batteries and atomizers it is not guaranteed to work. Which means its going in the junk draw.

    Yes, you will need a 801 to 510 adapter to use your 510 gear.

    well the average diameter of 16340 is around 16mm and the average dia of 18650 is 18mm. Possible guess is he wanted the caps to work with the 18650 tube. So the tube on the sp3 might be wider. Maybe I am wrong just a guess.

    There pretty good about correcting any issues. I have been using mine with a 306 atty. It is tiny as hell with a 306 on it.

    Really I would have to compare sp2 and sp3 to see if there was a point to it. Might be a new manufacture, who knows. As an inventor my self, I only make changes when it's absolutely required.

    Yea that is a bummer, just like when Mac phased out the g5 processor and moved to intel chips. At least there cheap use it till the threads are dead then upgrade.
