by the day...or else a whole crop of us would have been moved at the begining of Nov... and been running in fear of being turned into soylent green eliquid...
do you have any soldering skill?
if soI'd say that your best bet for maximum vapor at the cheapest route that won't bun out the battery would be a box mod...running an AW 14500 IMR high drain battery.... with a cisco LR 306 atty or possiby a semi LR 801 atty...and drip tips
hmm last I knew big boy's was a franchise thing so it'd be interesting to know if it's just your local one or if it's all of them
Are we talking about the one on Ryan road?
generally prefilled cartos are pretty nasty...have an almost chemical or perfume taste to them....
blanks filled with your own juice are generally much better...
either way when I get new blanks I open them and take off the rubber caps and let them sit for a while...
they're so quickly made...
yes they are the same...
batteries when listed as 16340 or 14500 or 18650 are simply the battery measurements...
for example 16340...
first 2 numbers are the diameter in mm.... 16mm diameter
second 2 are the length in mm.........34mm long
the 0 on the end indicates a round cell..
but the...
glad you like it and that it's working better for you..
now on to your questions
A few of my main questions now are..........
* How do you know when you have filled the blank carts enough?
if we're talking cart's not cartos....just drip enough juice onto the filler til the top looks...
my first best suggestion would be to not wait til christmas...
there are disposeable models as far as both the KR808d-1 model and the 510 model go....I'd get one of each and sit down with her and let her try them out... see what she likes or doesn't like about each... and then use that to pick...
yeah they do...there's been several threads on that...
the batteries themselves but moreso the mosfet in them... the mosfet isnt rated to handle the increased amperage with a LR atty so the mosfet degrades...it's kinda a crapshoot of when the mosfet will fail though...
that statement is only half true when we are talking about 18650 batteries...
yes high drains are capable of providing more amperage...
in an 18650 battery that aditional ampreage is un needed....
a high drain will perform the same as a Li-Ion...LR atties and standard atties will perform no...
yeah the adapter that lets you charge the eGo on a standard 510 charger... you can use it as an extention so the 306 isn't way down in the cone...
as for it being crappy of the vendors....honestly I just don't think they really thought of it...we had drip tips and then shorties...now we're...
very cool...
and please don't let this sound like nitpicking.....but I'm just wondering if for prolonged potency of juice it's advised to keep away from sunlight....what would putting a UV led so close to the juice bottle do? would it essentially help degrade the juice?
right when we're talking just the 18650 size I really see no need for the IMR...
even with a LR atty you're not going to see an improved performance only a shorter runtime per charge...
I'm not really experienced with that 2900mAh one...it's a new chemistry and is 3.6V versus 3.7V which may...
not quite that simple...but yes and no
in an 18650 size.. high drain really is un needed overkill and just costs battery life between charges..
in smaller size batteries it all depends on what atty you're using...
a 1.5Ω atty at 3.7V is 2.47A... a standard joye 510 atty at 2.2Ω is...
kinda where I figured the question was coming from...
your options are to either:
A) extend the 306 further up the cone... (a ego battery charging adapter works for that...or using adapters that you may already have (I use a 510 to 901 adapter and then a 901 to 510 adapter) it puts about...
in the 18650 size really nothing...in that size it really does come down to mAh...
let's say you're using a 1.5Ω LR atty...
at 3.7V the amp draw of that is 2.47A
an AW 2600 mAh Li-Ion 18650 is capable of about 5.2A
an AW 1600mAh LiMN high drain 18650 is capable of about 16A
both are more...
first... the eGo/riva/510 stock batteries are actually more 3.2V so you'll see a difference running a 3.7V device..
add to that the icon is all mechanical is it not? so the whole wire argument thing is kinda moot...
then if you actually run a High drain battery that can actually deliver the...
lol... batteries are harder...everything changes depending on what you're using...
as for the flat top... all I can say is ask jeff....I STILL havent placed my order for a chuck ....the $ to throw down and wait just hasn't been there and there's other stuff on my list first...
I totally get it... like I said I was just answering things about vents, buttons on the end, and batteries...
I plan on having the vents added to the precise as well... and a chamfered top (because I don't like the totally flat top)...
end buttons ..the concern was raised and I was just...
