are we talking a 5V PT or just a standard one?
if we're talking standard I'd look at the USB eGo batteries... it's an eGo that a USB plugs into the end so it charges and acts as a PT but then you can take it off the cable and use it like a regular battery..
I'd second the eGo sentiment..
aditionally there are 510 cartos that will fit it natively...
and you can get an adapter to use KR808d-1 cartos on it as well...
I'd look toward the e2 cartos or the boge made cartos (vapornine sells them as turbos, nhaler sells them as mega cartos...couple of...
lol...still better than when I put a stainless Drip tip on a carto at 6V... and didn't realize that the wire in the center was a bit longer and touching the tip...electrified DT that shorted to the carto shell...
that'll make you a little miffed
now hold on a minute...here's the caveat.... we're talking about a riva which is really just a eGo knock off...
the reason I say that is because it could be important...in that some manufacturers of knock offs...their Low resistance atties are actually the same or in the same range as a...
add on to that ....that's per charge....figuring a cycle life of 500 charges.... that's about 600,000 button presses out of the life of that battery..... most people I know switch between at least 2 batteries and that'd take us over a million button presses in the cycle life of 2 batteries...
the twisted ones are acrylic... if you google acrylic pen blanks (the blanks for wood turners to turn their own pens on a lathe)....you'll see all the same patterns...
yes it is a huge variance ...that's why I mentioned it
but you can see from the tenergy specs: Tenergy LiFePO4 RCR123A 3.0V 750mAh Rechargeable Battery
meanwhile the AW guy over on CPF says that their 16340 LiFePo4 are good for up to 10C discharge (which on a 500mAh cell is 5A)
and yeah...
it really depends on battery size and which atty you're using...
I will say that a 14500 high drain at 600mAh and a 14500 ultrafire Li-Ion 900mAh...actually deplete in about the same amount of time...
the reason being is that because the high drain actually has the ability to power the atty...
you pretty much got it right...about 99.5%...
what it is with the eGos/ rivas/hello16/standard 510 batteries is actually that the mosfet in them isn't really built to withstand the higher amperage that a LR demands...so using them causes the mosfet to degrade faster than normal... exactly how...
lol no problem ... a lot of places don't actually publish or include the C rating on their specs.. you pretty much have to ask or do the math...
as far as having a solid grasp of the C rating you can use it for a couple of things...
first helping determine what the max drain rate of the...
I just want to echo what roly said..
high drain is just that... a different battery chemistry like LiMN that has a lower internal resistance thus giving it a higher max drain rate...
the tenergy batteries to me are problematic because they have a very low max drain rate so they really are...
could always zip across to indy..there's a brick and mortar there too...or akron for vaporbomb... if you're really hurting and in a pinch some of the mall kiosks sell liquid...
we've got one here in toledo it's like $12 for 10ml so it's not complete and total highway robbery...but I'd only do...
hi drains are different chemistry... they're LiMN versus Li-Ion...
the cathode inside the battery is different Manganese instead of cobalt so the resistance is lower hence high drain (more energy can be drawn from it quicker)
because of it's ability to be able to draw more power faster from...
agreed.. delrin is pretty resilient... it also only comes in black, white, and a natural color... if it's another color or "twisted" it's a different type of plastic... the S&M comunity often uses delrin because of it's virtually unbreakable properties as well as it's anti-microbial properties...
sorry, I disagree...
when a vendor takes an order for a full kit and then sends the mod out without the batteries or atty with no comunication to the purchaser...
and has no battery info on thier website..
and doesn't comunicate the appropriate battery info to the purchaser because they...
Tom Petty is using an e-cig as well.... I've thought about trying to get one to niel peart (from rush) as well since that man chain smokes an insane amount
while that sounds about right...
you've got the p16 that's all mechanical, all stainless, and has a lifetime warranty...and hasn't been involved in any battery incidents...and CS is top notch...
vs the glv...which well is the complete opposite
you can get noalox at lowes or home depot... with the wiring stuff like wire lube (for snaking wiring and cable)... it's made by ideal so ask where that stuff is... the lowes or home depot guy usually wont know what you're talking about if you just ask for noalox...
I'd clean the inside of...
i really don't have a favorite carto supplier...but among the ones I've tried the ones from them were the worst... vapornine turbos are good...nhaler mega cartos are pretty good, the puresmoker ace and their atomz are popular, even cigeasy is popular
