    Aha! So it sounds like that's what happened - the threads wore on my Vivis - I have a whole bunch of them, may have to replace the worn ones and get all new Vivis. My other tanks mostly work fine, it's just the Vivis that are the problem.

    Thanks guys, for all these great responses, much appreciated. I do have a bunch of adapters. I tried that first, and now the 510-510 adapters aren't working either. I am using four different mods where this is happening. That's why I am thinking the Vivis are the culprit, possibly stripping out...

    Not the week after Christmas; everything is too expensive then. Weren't we saying early December?? It would be cheaper early December than January. For me, staying at a generic hotel with a pool, doesn't do much for me. I like atmosphere. Local color and flavor. Just my preference.

    My sister used Compuserve. We used Q-Link ;) Just for Commodore 64 users. Oh boy was it expensive compared to now!

    Thanks, yzer. Teflon tape didn't work, anyways. Maybe I should post this in the Vivi Nova thread. It seems like the female 510 connections may be what is stripped.
