    That was really helpful. It looks like since that grease is for electrical connections, that's more appropriate than something meant for aluminum. It looks like No-Ox-Id A-Special is the same type.

    So alcohol followed by soap and water, then dry and use Noalox, etc. I have one mechanical I have been using a few months and I've never done anything to it. When I get my new ones, I will do this. Thank you!

    I've heard people clean them, then Noalox them before using. Is this necessary? I also heard that No-Ox-Id Special A is better than Noalox. Any thoughts on this?

    Awhile back I bought something the guy at Home Depot said to use, he said this stuff holds anything. Not sure if would work for vaping stuff? I haven't tried it on anything yet. It is called "Loctite Super Glue Ultra Gel Control". It says it can be used on metal. I have a 2 part epoxy I think...

    Had to "repair" my Vamo threads!

    Just wanted to let you know that squeezing with pliers rescued a Vision Spinner with stripped threads that I had. I was able to get a 510 connector to stay put in there so I can put tanks on top. Thanks again for the suggestion.
