Welcome to ECF! That goes for you too, Trainman and dbertram and anyone else that's new here. Let us know how you're doing.
Starry, I sure like your ID. Good choice. You, Rebarooski, and Fullback need to join the Colorado Vapers group...
I don't think anyone in the New Members forum will be able to help you. The suppliers can't post here. You now have five posts, so you should be able to post in the GG forum. It may take a bit for the forum to reset so it knows you have five, I think it resets each hour.
I know. I used to light a cigarette and about halfway through I didn't really want any more, but you also don't want to waste it, so you smoke the whole thing. Now I take a drag or two then put it down. It's great!
I'm sure you know to drink a lot of water as you vape. One thing I've...
One of the best pieces of advie I read here was to not push yourself too hard. I know for me, if I started thinking I couldn't have a cigarette, it made me obsess about them. I kept some cigarettes around at first and would smoke one once in a while. After a few days I didn't want them...
I wish you the very best of luck, LadyD. I'm so sorry about your mom. Let us know how it goes when you get your eGo. This is a great forum if you have questions or problems.
I should have said too, some people have allergic reactions to PG and have to vape VG. I don't think it's common, but it does happen. If you're allergic to PG I'd think you'd have trouble with a lot of products as it's used in all kinds of things.
I think people usually buy the nic liquid and doubler in the same flavor. The point is to be able to mix a bunch up at less cost or to be able to adjust the mg as needed. I'm not sure about Almond Horn and Geoff's Blend. I'd get the same flavor in both.
VG and PG are a personal choice. VG...
What are you getting? My very favorite TV juices are Geoff's Blend and Cherry Cola. They're all good, but those are the two I vape off and on every day.
Chainvapor has made a calculator you can use. You'll find it here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tasty-vapor/105274-tv-calculator-nic-content-vg-pg.html
With 48 mg nic juice it would be 1 part e-liquid + 3 parts Doubler.
So, you'll have four parts. It's hard to get exactly 20%VG in that mix.
To get 25% VG you can get 10% in the nic juice and 30% in the doubler.
To get 22.5% VG you can get all PG in the nic juice and 30% in the doubler.
To...
PG is a thinner liquid and has better throat hit. VG produces more vapor. I prefer a mix of 80% PG / 20% VG. If I do much more VG I seem to get a lot of phlegm. That's just me, though.
You can only get the 48 mg with 10% VG, so it depends on what you want your final mix to be as to what %...
Good find, Thudd. The eGo type battery I got from Tasty Vapor had a blue LED in the button, but it didn't work so I returned it. I may recommend them after I get my replacement, but I can't now. I do recommend Tasty Vapor for their customer service and their juices, though.
It is trial and error. Some of what I thought I'd love just doesn't do it for me. I really hesitated to get Cherry Cola from Tasty Vapor and it's one of my favorites now. I strongly suggest getting juices from the vendors that make their own and aren't just reselling the Chinese stuff. Most...
I don't know of any comprehensive threads about all of the liquids out there. It would be hard to do because new vendors and new juices from old vendors are coming up all the time. I would go to the reviews section and read the liquids reviews. That will give you some ideas.
My favorite...
Seems like you're paying a lot extra just to get a blue LED. If it's that important to you, go ahead. I'm not a fan of automatic batteries, but some people like them.
The eGo doesn't have an LED on the end like the kr808s do. There is a light inside the button you press, but it's covered...
