How long does an Arctic 0.2 ohm coil last?

I haven't used this coil, but I can tell you it varies depending on a few factors (like how often you use it) and because that varies so much it's hard to tell, just change when you feel the need to or rebuild it :)

    Why is silica even used?

All the silica wick coils I've used eventually get gunked up and all horrible to use..

    Why is silica even used?

Have you tried rewicking with a silica wick? not easy.. Cotton is super easy to re-wick if you burn it, plus it comes in huge bundles for super cheap.. I'm currently using a standard coil head that I took the silica wick out of and put some cotton in there, and I'm not even worried about it...

Voltage difference between dc-dc and pwm?

I've never used a sig 30w mini, but from my Electrical Engineering knowledge I can explain a little about these modes. The PWM mode is used as a regulated power mode, and the DC-DC is used for mechanical mod mode. I don't have much knowledge/experience with these in terms of vaping, but from...

    Why is silica even used?

That's a really good point. But for those of us who quit for the health reason, I guess it's no harm to be as safe as possible and sceptical considering we quit for health.

Sonoma Becomes The First US City To Ban E-liquid Flavours

It's absurd that they claim that they are 'protecting the children'. While I believe some of the labelling I've seen on is a bit un-needed with all these cartoony characters and icons, but hey that's the vendors choice. Instead of regulating e-juice, how about you simply shops from selling it to...

    Why is silica even used?

Care to elaborate why you prefer silica wicks just out of curiosity? :)

    Why is silica even used?

Well I'm not really comparing it to anything but from personal research crystalline silica is known to cause silicosis, various other lung diseases including lung cancer. I don't think Froth mentioned that silica wicks were better then cotton, he said it carried on from the 'dark days' of...

    Why is silica even used?

Nice to know, thanks for filling that bit in. It really should be changed because there are unknown dangers regarding it, I'm unsure if that's just me being worried or just being un-educated about the stuff. I recently bought a bunch of organic cotton and I'm completely ditching silica anyway...

    Dollar Store Coil Storage Idea

That's actually something that could be quite handy, I'm currently storing my unused/empty coil heads in a plastic baggy. I ordered some kanthal and I'm going to be rebuilding them :)

    Why is silica even used?

So as we know silica wick is used for all standard coil heads/tanks that are on the market (Except some newer OCC coils that are being released) but this raised a question for me, why did we even used silica in the first place? As we all know silica is quite dangerous and I'm not 100% sure...

    Nicotine mg. advice needed plz

24mg is a HUGE number, even 18mg is considered quite big. It really depends on what you're vaping on, I started with a CE4/eGo battery and I started on 18mg juice.. After I upgraded to a more powerful tank I realised that 18mg was too high, so I stepped down to 12mg and I still think that is too...

    Allergic Reaction? I'm not sure.

Strangely enough I had something mildly similar to this, I recently noticed a lot of dry skin on my face (mainly forehead) but it's not irritating or anything. I'm unsure if this is to do with vaping or not.

    Lipo battery question

Please, be very careful with LiPo batteries. They are insanly dangerous, and personally I have no idea why people are using them for vaping. The World’s Most Dangerous Battery They are dangerous. If you overcharge them, drop them, puncture them, damage them in anyway, they will explode. It is...

Dual 18650 unregulated box mod mosfet/battery question

There are many different MOSFETs available and the reason being is that they are suited for different circuits, unless you're an electrical engineer I suggest you stick with the recommended MOSFET (which is IRLB3034, stated by Mooch) it is widely used for mods. The problem with the different...

    The Hangsen Thread

I currently have 30ml of Hangsen strawberry and blueberry on my way. Should be here any day as my other package (shipped the day before) arrived. Anyone tried either of these? I'm a big fan of blueberry eliquid.

Do you have a fire proof bag to charge batteries?

I don't have one, I just keep a close eye on my batteries while charging. One of my old chargers did burn out and started melting, nearly caused a fire but I noticed in time. Keep a close eye on them, you can never be too safe.

What should I do with these coils?

I had one of those with a tank I bought before, didn't really work well it just failed to hold any of the juice at all even after priming it it just went dry pretty quickly, my juice isn't too thick on the VG side either.. oh well.
