Hiatus, The beta metal veiling tip is an example to metal fuming (traditionally called veiling)...
Metal Veiling Beta. The marble is 14mm (.55" about 3/4 of a dime.) A custom artist choice (over the rainbow tier) I have shown this work; with much pride, to my immediate peers and they've been awed! :)

This 2.14 patchwork galaxy marble is currently on auction at the "marble collectors page" (fb) It's an "open" group. His opening bid is $250 and it ends 9/02 @ 7pm est. This is the first one he has made since a competition back in 09. He won best dichroic (obviously!)
