    Wood CNC modmaking?

I have decided not to realize this project until winter. I need to have an electrician install some power outlets in the storage room in the basement. I'm still saving up for the CNC router, probably a Shapeoko. At the current rate, I'll have the money ready in about ten weeks time. Assembling...

UGH....Cant win....aspire nautilus vs aerotank mega

You can top fill the Mega, which will give you some more capacity.

    P3 Provari

Same here. If it was 30 W I wouldn't be here on ECF right now, I'd be on provape.com hammering away on the F5 key. As it stands, maybe I'll buy the P3 as soon as it is added to their web shop, maybe I'll wait and see if the P3.5 will have more power. I'm simply not sure if the improvements of...

New study has some very interesting information on e-cig users

Yeah that blasted ring kept scratching up my mod, of course I tossed it. :p

    Provari V3

The Evolv patent seems pretty specific regarding how the power is controlled. But there are many ways to skin a cat. My guess is that ProVape uses a control circuit that basically does the same job, but in a somewhat different manner.

    P3 Provari

No, I am not comparing the lack of reverse battery protection to the P3. Learn to read. Buddy. Are you absolutely certain of that? 100%? Are you willing to make a bet? Or maybe I just prefer accuracy to hyperbole ... I don't know? You tell me. I am actually starting to understand...

Dropped my stingray mod and top cap won't budge

Bigger pliers? Maybe a better approach would be to whack the threads back in place with a hammer. But there's a risk of ruining the whole thing, of course.

    P3 Provari

The DNA boards do have some safety features. The Provari 2.5 has glue in it, AFAIK. Sorry, this is also wrong. The number of button colors is times seven. The number of battery options is only times 1.5. The maximum wattage output is times 1.33. The maximum voltage output is times 1. Etc...

    18650 in Parallel

Yes, with two identical batteries in parallel, each battery provides half the total current.

    Potential dangers of batteries

No, not unless your atty shorts out or your batteries are (or go) bad. If you are using a regulated mod, that will probably give you some added protection.

    Coil Wraps 32g?

1: Learn the basics of Ohm's law. 2: Get yourself a multimeter. 3: Learn how to measure resistance. 4: Continue to pursue your coil building project. For your own safety, do not jump to point 4 without having completed all the preceding steps first.

New coils often breaking/crumbling on first fire

If the negative coil leg is touching the positive post on the build deck (as it almost seems to do in the picture), and you give it 4 Volts from a mech mod, that could well be enough to melt the leg. Which is a good thing, because the alternative would be to "melt" the battery.

Got my first sorta "big boy" vape

I have heard many a good thing about the MVP, and I do like the Protank. Keep in mind that if the Protank decides to give you any trouble in the future, you can upgrade it with an Aerotank base - the solution to almost all Protank problems. It's an easy upgrade, and a cheap one.

    Chipped Teeth?

I only use metal tips when sitting quietly in my own home. If I intend to lift a finger (other than to vape or to use my computer), I choose plastics or wood.

Can someone please explain ohms significance?

I think the garden hose analogy is more accurately described like this: Voltage is the water pressure. Higher voltage -> higher pressure. Resistance is the narrowness of the hose. Lower resistance -> thicker hose. Current is the speed of the water through the hose. High current -> high speed...

    Wood CNC modmaking?

I'm on the verge of splurging a small bucketload of money on equipment. Also, I'll have to turn my already somewhat cramped living room into a workshop. I cannot see how this could possibly go wrong...?

    Wood CNC modmaking?

After experiencing how difficult it is to get hold of a nice regulated wooden squonker, I started toying with the idea of making my own. 3D printing and CNC routers have always intrigued me, but I have no hands-on experience with either. My woodworking skills are also pretty basic. I have...

Do the goofy names bother anyone?

And it sets them apart in the market. There are many juices named "E-liquid - Strawberry flavor". There is just one (afaik) named "Unicorn Blood". Hmmmm. Suddenly I feel the urge to buy a bottle to try it out. :D

Just got started and bought the vamo 5 (few questions)

Most people do use clearomizers. The people who hang out here are not "most people". ;) If you want to vape at higher watts/volts, try a double coil clearomizer. If that is still not enough for you, you have to get into rebuildable atomizers, and wrap your own coils, like many of us here on ECF do.
