Do the goofy names bother anyone?

Hourses for courses. There are some oddly named beers out there, too. There are also lots of plainly named e-liquids to choose from.

    whats better than a protank?

The Aerotank line is made by Kanger. Personally I prefer the Aerotank to the Aspire Nautilus.

    Protank 2 not true stainless?

    Aerotanks are real stainless.

    whats better than a protank?

Aerotank is much better IMO. Or if you want single coil, a Protank 2 with an Aerotank base.

    fasttech mechanical mods

My experiences: Not recommended: Nemesis Style Mechanical Mod (Mixed Edition) Too many parts. Bad build quality. "Beauty rings" between the tubes don't fit if you swap them between the tubes.Gold plating comes off within a few days. Crunchy switch, even after upgrading with magnets. Battery...

what regulated will let me vape below 3.7 volts at a build less than 1 ohm

Why, that can be achieved on a mech too, as long as you've got sufficient voltage drop and battery sag. :p

    What a hassle!

Some of these terms are pretty straightforward. A tank is a container for e-liquid. A bottom coil is an atomizer where the coil is sitting at the bottom of the tank, as opposed to a top coil, which is a tank with the coil at the top. The best most hassle free vape I have had so far, is from the...

    To Boost or Buck?

Stacking batteries is not a good solution AFAIU. Therefore my vote goes to boost, or even better: buck-boost.

what regulated will let me vape below 3.7 volts at a build less than 1 ohm

The DNA boards don't do step-down, so you can't vape any lower than your current battery voltage. The YiHi SX350 board does step down, and can go as low as 1V.

Higher ohms vs lower ohms vs battery usage

I wrote a blog post about battery drain on regulated devices here: Battery drain

    Well kiss my coil!

Hah, you clumsy people! I could never be absent minded enough to put a a dual coiled Kraken without a top cap to my lips, giving myself two perfectly symmetrical blisters. Fun facts: A mesh wick has more flavor than a drip tip. Also, the draw is tighter.

So here's a question.... Do I really NEED a Reo?

I'm still waiting for the Woodvil to become available... * looks at wristwatch * * looks at calendar, turns page to the current month * * pulls cob webs out of hair * * pulls cob webs out of clothes, coughes because of all the dust * * keeps on waiting *

Cheap mode vs expensive thing, or why I do not need Provary (or DNA, if you will)

I had a near dread experience on the bus the other day... (warning; the following story is not for the feint of heart)... 8-o I stepped out of the bus, and grabbed for my ProVari to have a vape... it was not there. I quickly searched all my other pockets, no PV. I sprinted back to the bus, which...

Cheap mode vs expensive thing, or why I do not need Provary (or DNA, if you will)

I bought my first Vamo after I had bought my first Provari. At first I wondered why I did that. (Granted, it was on sale ...) Then I found that the Vamo, with its three button menu and rattlesnake effect, was actually quite nice for testing and dry burning my super-ohm builds on. Also nice to...

    Provari

You can order directly from ProVape. Ego threaded devices like the Kanger PT2 Mini require a 510-Ego adapter.

Have a question about getting to vaping at 30 watts.

Get a decent dripper and set it up with dual coils and cotton. You'll be vaping at 30W before you know it.

Need Help! Kayfun Clone about to blow up battery???

Tighten it enough to make sure the positive build post stays put and does not rotate. Clones vary, so I don't know about the insulators in your KF clone, but if they are soft, over-tightening may conceivably lead to a short in the 510 connector.

Having issues keeping my cotton u wick saturated.

Too much cotton in the wick holes will obstruct the juice flow. Also remember to tilt. Consider trying a mesh wick.
