    As you increase the resistance, you also have to increase the voltage in order to stay at the same power (wattage). And vice versa.

    The Cool Fire looks bad-as and cool, and/or ridiculous and ugly. The Vamo looks more stylish, and/or boring. The Vamo has a display, VV, tells you the resistance and battery voltage. The Cool Fire is simpler to use, because of the lack of a display, VV, etc. I own a Vamo. I don't own a Cool Fire.

    I have vaped at 6V with a 2.4 Ohm coil just for the lolz. Tasted OK (but then again I made the build for that exact purpose). The advantage of VV is not necessarily that you can crank up the voltage, but rather that you can adjust it to taste.

    .1 may not sound like much, but the reduction in resistance is 1/3, in other words 33%. So a .2 ohm coil will give you 150% the current and 150% the power of a .3 ohm coil (disregarding the internal resistance of the battery).

    You also need a backup. If an equipment failure is all it takes to get you back to the combustion cigarettes, you're not playing it very "safe".

    Yep, adding an air flow controller to the Protank 2 makes it twice as good IMO.

    It also depends on the atomizer. A dual coil dripper (for example) with a big chamber, large coils and wicks, and a wide open airflow, will generally need much more power than a clearomizer, in order to reach the same "vaping temperatures".

    As long as the coil itself is not touching the posts (or the deck or the outer walls or the top cap), you're good. Short legs is a good thing. Placing the coil close to the air holes is also a good thing IME. Unfortunately, it is often difficult to achieve both at the same time.

    Heat flux in relation to vaping is largely uncharted territory. The calculator can give you the numbers, but I cannot say which numbers are "better". The numbers may be significant, but there might be too many other variables at play, making the numbers less useful. I simply do not know yet...
