    Maybe it has something to do with resale value. If I stopped using my Vamo, I wouln't bother to sell it. It would be too much hassle for the small sum of money I could hope to get for it.

    Yup, "drops" is a poorly defined unit. I've got a similar gripe with mech mods and voltage drop. Can we please cut out all the measurements that have the word "drop" in them? :facepalm:

    It is, but you because you have two 3 Ohm coils, you will have to increase the voltage in order to get each coil as hot as you would one 1.5 Ohm coil.

    ^^^ What he said. It's not really fractions. The first number is always 1 higher (or lower?) than the second number. So 7/6 (or 6/7) means 6½ wraps ... sort of.
