    Flooding carto tank

I don't know the IBTanked tanks specifically, but usually there's a seal between the glass and the end caps, and another seal between the end caps and the carto. Have you checked both? (All four?)

    Flooding carto tank

Definitely sounds like a sealing problem to me. If liquid gets out of the tank and into the carto, then air has to get into the tank somehow. If the air doesn't bubble its way in, that means it must have another way. Are the o-rings getting worn? Or maybe your new cartos are smaller in...

    18650 Batteries Damaged

Lithium batteries need to be treated with respect, or else they may blow up on you and/or start a fire. If I were you, I'd discard the batteries and buy some new ones.

    threwup

How many beers exactly? ;) Never happened to me. And I'm a not-so-pious Norwegian. I sometimes wake up with a sore throat, a burnt wick, and the mod turned up to eleven, though.

Plz, use Mobile app "CigToy" : Vapor's calculator...

That Ohm's law calculator looks strangely familiar. Come to think of it, there's something familiar about the coil calculator as well. And the juice calculator. Hmmm.

    better tank than pro tank?

The Aerotank is a nice step up from the Protank IME. Especially if you're not into rebuilding them.

    Air Bubbles?

IME they seem to prefer one side or the other, most of the time.

    Food For Thought "Steeping"

In amplifiers, burn-in is purely a phenomenon of psychology. In headphones and speakers, a case can be made that the mechanical parts settle in, but it's probably mostly psychology there too. In juice, stuff actually happens. I'm not saying there's not a psychological element to steeping too...

    Charging batteries in a car?

I think their point is that the electrical systems in cars are notorious for putting out overvoltage. With 120 or 240 VAC, we're talking a few percent deviation. In car 12V systems, we can easily have 10 or 20 percents, or maybe even more. Devices with 12V inputs should be able to handle...

    Vape mod and ohms

I doubt it's the PV's fault. What topper do you use?

    Temperature Control A Different Way?

Ok, I had a quick look at the PDF, and I think we can say that the furnace efficiency is analogous to the efficiency of the regulating circuit in the mod. With most mods, that is around 90%, give or take. The coil is 100% efficient when viewed in isolation, but looking at the mod/atomizer...

    Volts to use?

A mech mod is not adjustable. The resistance is determined by the coil, and relatively constant. The voltage is determined by the charge of the battery, and sinks as the battery empties. The power (wattage) and current (amperage) can be calculated from the resistance and voltage, using the...

    Volts to use?

Amps, volts, resistance, and watts all play together. When you have a constant resistance, and adjust one of the other values, the two remaining values will change as a result of that.

Whats the lowest we should go on those efest "35" amp 18650 batteries?

You can try the one in my signature. ;)

    Suggestion: Ohms and degrees

I have a suggestion regarding the text editor. Today we can insert a smiley by clicking an image below the editor window. :) <----- see? How about an "emoticon" for Ohms Ω, and one for degrees ° ? They're often used. Alternatively, the buttons could sit in the top toolbar, along with the sub...

    Temperature Control A Different Way?

The precision of the DNA 40 is 10°F or 5°C. Depending on the conductivity of the atomizer and 510, the accuracy can be ... well, in my experience, all over the place to be honest. Exactly how it measures the resistance I don't know, but its efficiency seems to be very high. 92% according to...

What's the best way to pull?

I'd try to keep the vapor away from the most delicate microphones if I were you. Other than that, as long as you don't blow the vapor directly onto your equipment I think it should be fine.

Whats the lowest we should go on those efest "35" amp 18650 batteries?

    Technically, R = U / I. R = 4.2 V / 20 A R = 0.21 Ohm. But realistically, we want some headroom (factor of safety). So let us say that 20% is safe enough (but is it?) R = 4.2V / 16 A. R = 0.26 Ohm. That's the absolute lowest I personally would go with those batteries, if I was feeling...

    Temperature Control A Different Way?

When you run current through a coil to heat it up, the current doesn't end up in the coil and disappear, or disippate as heat. We're talking closed circuits here, and the current going out of the coil equals the current going into the coil, even though power is "lost" in the coil. What drops off...

    I made a calculator

In the battery calculator, you can set the voltage to 8.4 instead of 4.2, double the mAh rating, and cut the C value in half. That ought to do it for the amp limit section. For the runtime numbers to be correct, don't half the C value. I may add a checkbox for stacked batteries at some point...
