Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

Just an update the Mollenberry brews that I made and zapped for 3x 1 hour sessions came out perfect and very tastey. I let the juice rest between zapps until it reached room temp with the lids off. I was very surprised that even the Mollinberry wild strawberry kept its flavor well unlike the...

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

Thanks @SlickWilly, I was referring to factory coils like those for the Ijoy Maxo V12 which are a bit pricey. However I have opted to using the V12-RT6 Deck and with a triple coil build I am content.

Looking for good apple pie recipe

Man there are so many apple pie recipies on the net that the mind boggles. Just google Apple Pie recipe e-juice. I use a mix of Capella Strawberry, Green Apple and Pie Crust. The proportions would depend on what dominant flavour you desire on the exhale. Some times I will throw in some Cream...

    Vapor production

I use both mixes and no real noticeable difference. It depends on the tank, coil build and mod power used. I have gone over now to pure VG blends as I find pure Vg juice is much better for me. Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

Comment by 'Acer50' in 'Speed Steeping - Ultrasonic vs Crock Pot Test'

@mikepetro, the crock pot idea is interesting however that temperature control device is a bit of an expense. The UC I think would would be the simpler solution. Those that can run long cycles.

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

A Crock Pot? You mean one of them slow cooker thingies? Hmmm lol, you would not want to put a plastic bottle in it. Might be worth a try. I wonder what the link was where he wrote about it and what the search keywords would be. I just mixed a sample batch of Mollinberry concentrates which I...

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

Mine only had three minute cycles before it disintegrated. When it worked it cleaned well. The Two Litre Job I bought after, I have had no issues.

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

My first one came from this fleabay dealer global.living on eBay It is the 600ml job with no heaters and a 3 minute cycle. It was too small for me and I gave it to the wife to clean her jewelry and I used it to clean my Sako Watch. It worked well for about 6-7 times for that task and...

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

It would be interesting to know if Ultrasonic Cleaners sold in the USA are actually made in the USA or China. I had major issues with the small cheap roundish one. It was made in China and after 5 x 3 min cycles over a period of three weeks it blew. Water leaked into the electronics. It was...

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

Thanks @Mactavish, yes the big beast I sent a picture of had a good metal basket. I personally suspect that the plastic also reacted and released something into the juice although when I did it nothing occurred to my batch. Totally bewildering.

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

I too have been messing around with Ultrasonic Steeping. I bought this beast on Ebay for about $60 AUD. including delivery. I do my juice in warm water about 30C and do not use the heater. After 4 X 20 minute cycles the juice is as good as. I let it breath for a day with the cap loose. I...

The FastTech Thread for All FastTech Posts (Part 2)

I am not in the least impressed with Fastech, I only shop there when I cannot find what I am looking for from local vendors. Quite a few of my friends still use the Ego II style vapes why? It beats me. Ok I was looking for a tank that I could not find elsewhere and to save on freight told my...

Can I microwave my ejuice to speed up steeping?

I also warm my VG in a hot water bath and likewise found that the steeping process is considerably reduced. As to microwave, hmm... I do not think I would. I use a duel type convection and microwave oven and even when cooking food in it I opt out for multi cook, i.e. using both modes. I am...
