Hey bro, it didn't take me long to discover who the Reo guy was on EFC, thanks for this post it has been very informative. Just to let you know a couple of the links no longer connect to anything. I have been vaping for a year+ now! my setup is basic, Mini Protank 2 with a Spinner 2, given me no...
Thanks Mac, I reread both again slowly, I understand the general idea, but as I said I had been thinking along this line mostly because of your instruction to others with regards to shorts etc. I like the idea of finishing the build with the legs pointing in the opposite directions, makes...
Hey guys, told you I was rereading everything again, I have been thinking a lot about how the legs exit from the bottom so you don't pull either end of the coil apart. My thought was to bend each leg in the direction it wanted to go to as if make another wrap on either end. But my question is...

It is the best place to learn how to build a tensioned MicroCoil, also PT3's can be rebuilt with a single coil, check it out.
(V x V) /O = W
I finally get it, have used it a couple of times. Thank you ! Had no idea when I started vaping I would be using math, lol.

Cig, I want to take the time to thank you for our assistance and advise with my question about 29g kanthal and my setup, it amazes me that u did remember. It took me by surprise and I was a little disappointed having made the decision to go for 29 gauge, better to know now that 30 is the way to...
Thanks Cig, so what you are saying is for me at least 30g is the way to go even with my egos. I thought volts x ohms = watts, 4v x 1.8 ohms = 7.23 watts. I guess I was wrong.
This is what I based my calculations on.. Mac answering Maz

Cig are u saying with a Vision Spinner 2 using 29 gauge is not an option if I am aiming for 1.8 - 2ohms. I thought the Spinner would do okay, I can run up to 4.5 volts. Guess I'm a little confused.
Has anyone tried 29g, 9/10wraps on either a 1.58mm or a 1.75mm. Just wondering if the head can handle 10wraps without shorts etc. also I heard that the Aero tank mini will take regular PT replacement heads, can anyone confirm.

Mac, I just started rereading this forum from the beginning, I certainly understand much more and am now learning some of the nuances of building t.m.c.'s from the the journey you and others have made this past year or so. It is interesting to view the progression from the m.c. to the tension...
Mac, it was me that started this whole thing with a question about cueing or racking. Now I don't understand all the science behind it, or fully grasp what you and Cig talk about, most of the time. But I do know what I saw when Super_X cued the drill bit through his coil. At first the legs had...
Cig, would love to see pics, I've seen your coils, wish mine will look that good. Could you redo something went wrong and pics not there.

Katya thanks for the suggestion, but Mac is right. I have already told my friend we will make it work together. I am thinking for him at least the Gizmo may be the way to go. We watched super_X's video on the Gizmo and he is confident he can hold the wire spool under tension. I believe if he can...
Hey guys, looking to find a metal rod 1.80mm for the gizmo jig. A friend of mine wants to rebuild his Kanger heads. He can't use his hands well, arthritis. He isn't happy with the stock heads and I don't want him to back to analogs. Tried to google it but with no success, any ideas to be...
A buddy of mine wants to get into rebuilding his Kanger heads, his arthritic hands would prevent him from hand coiling. What size rods come with Gizmo, further do you think it's possible to find a 1.80mm rod. That's the perfect size to fit into the slot on the mangers.
While I was checking out...
