SS wire. Where is the best place to get it?
I personally tasted and experienced a massive difference between the Chinese brand and US brand SS wires. The Chinese (UD) is dirty right off the bat, lots of machine oil, and it produces almost no flavor. (Temco US brand) also have a slightly oily wire, and you need to clean that .... before...- vBDKv

I think they are made for more vapor, not flavor. A coils job is to vaporize the juice that the cotton has in it. Adding another layer of wire around a wire to "trap" juice sounds like a gimmick to me, unless you drip directly onto it.- vBDKv

You need to drink at least 2 liters of water (or half a gallon) every single day when vaping. Usually you won't feel thirsty until you start drinking. I also recommend taking a multivitamin pill if you get a lump feeling in your throat. New vapers do get that lump in their throat (me included)... -

I usually go for 6 wraps with 26ga, 3mm id (should come out at 0.85), that way the coil wont bend as much as 7 wraps when tightened down. More wraps more flavor though. All spaced of course. I did try micro-coiling but it burned my cotton in less than a day. Apparently I'm a chain vaper and... -

How much do you spend on juice a month?
That's pretty darn cheap! 10ml of aroma is close 6 bucks around these parts lol. Then another $2 per 10ml of nicotine (I use 15ml per 30ml bottle). A 100ml base costs 5 bucks. I vape close to 100ml per month, so that's err ... 5 times something something ... A lot more expensive :D- vBDKv

No, they simply assume that you'll use the mod at it's maximum rated output and advice you to use that sort of battery for safety and longevity reasons. It's actually a good advice. However if you only vape at 20-40w, then it doesn't apply to you specifically :) You'll get a lot longer vape time...- vBDKv

Yeah as already mentioned, pre-built coils usually requires a little break in. I clearly remember the first time I tried a custard on a fresh coil. It tasted like burnt rubber with vanilla on top. 4ml later and it was the best flavor I've ever had :p- vBDKv

How much do you spend on juice a month?
10ml of juice cost 5 bucks around these parts, so I started with DIY. It's far easier than I thought. Just calculate using this website and then watch this video (or the other way around hehe). When I'm feeling lazy however, I order from Yaeliq. 100ml for 10 bucks. That would cost me 50 bucks...- vBDKv

When vaping at low wattage (10-40w) it's best to get a battery with more Mah as they'll simply last longer. The Samsung 30Q is excellent in that regard. 3000mah (15A) compared to the 25S 2500mah (35A). When you need more power to blow huge clouds or just general DTL vaping (50w+) then you'll...- vBDKv

Is this normal for a Prism tank?
This is basically why I prefer unpainted tanks, straight up stainless steel. Paint will always come off at some point, some easier than others due to how they are painted and treated at the factory.- vBDKv
