    What works for me is a 1/16" micro coil, 6-7 wraps of 30 gauge around 1.6-1.9 ohms. anything lower and I've noticed the wicking can't keep up but YMMV.

    Did you blow the primer out first? Then drip a few drop and allow it to soak for a few minutes. That should clear up your chemical taste and throat hit problem.
