Even at 99 he was running the garden tiller and doing things many in their 60s couldn't do and keep up with him. He vaped too :D- JoanJ

The 21st would have been my pop's 101st birthday. We had a wonderful birthday party for him last year and lost him about 6 months later. Just like he reached 100 and then gave up.- JoanJ

If you have never done sprouts before Dale, they are easy. Many ways shown here on the interwebs but I just rinse mine a few times and then soak in warm water a few hours in a glass jar, then pour the water off and rubber band a piece of gauze or the mesh from an onion bag, etc over the top...- JoanJ

Sunny here too but a real nip in the air, not quite sitting outside weather but better than yesterday and hope it melts the ice off my steps. Almost fell this morning out there. For the first couple of months, then they pretty much didn't bother.... I got what they called Office Duty where I had to mark all the kids absent in the main roster or run notes to this teacher or that. We had to buy all our books. I never did, spent of cigs but still got straight A's- JoanJ

Amer History 1, teacher used listerine between classes. I added various things to it til I got caught. American History 2, different teacher. Not really sure where you are but that sounds like Seattle or Southeast AK weather. Although we had a 56 panel van and it would have fallen apart if not for the moss. Juneau averaged over 60 in of rain and 80 inches of snow a year. Ketchikan is almost double the rainfall but less snow. It...- JoanJ

I know what you mean. I use mine at least once a week or more and that makes it worth it for me. I would say decide how much rice you will want to do at a time. Buy one that fits what you want and don't go way over that size. I would go to Amazon and read some of the reviews on whichever you...- JoanJ
