    I never assumed, which is why I emailed them and asked and asked here. If it were literally just a battery, then sure...that's unreasonable to assume they come with the charger. But a mod? And an Ego of all things? While I've never used an ego personally, I have ordered them for friends before...

I found another thread that showed one opened up and it seemed to be that there wasn't any silica, but rather the coil was loose with a thicker polyfil material wrapped around it, and then the regular polyfil surrounding it. Anyway you don't have to rip into it...
