    Trying to combat throat irritation

    I agree that a MTL device is likely the solution. However the PG/VG ratio can be important. My wife gets throat irritation with PG so she uses 100% VG. I have COPD and associated nasal congestion so I use 80% PG and 20% VG (and unflavored).

    One of mine I have to wiggle after inserting the plug to get a connection. The Istick Basic socket is sort of deep and some cords don't go in far enough to connect if that makes sense.

    I don't find too much difference between the 1.0 and the .6 except a bit longer battery life with the 1.0. If you want even longer battery life the 1.5 is better. Overall, I prefer the 1.0 coil.

    I own both. Like the shape of the kanger better, but like the performance of the pico. Over a couple of years they still work, so no break downs. When it comes to the tanks that come with the starter kits, the subtank is better.

    Subtank mini coils are available almost everywhere for $10-12 for a 5 pack. There are several versions now and different ohms. $13.99 for 30 mil is not a terrible price. Mt Baker Vapor is one of the cheaper sites for liquid. Yes, get a new battery.
