    I'm a huge believer in a big, barrel chested dog with a very loud voice too Rave. We have a dog that is exactly that. Although he loves his little kitty and lets her do whatever she wants to him (pull his ears, bite those hanging, slobbery lips, etc) he would eat an intruder and leave no bones...
